Apostate Librarian

Apostate Librarians are reanimated skeletons that serve  Balthazar in the Shadowfell during Act Two.

Involvement

Act Two

If Balthazar has not been defeated yet, the party encounters him as they enter the Shadowfell via the Gauntlet of Shar. Once the party reaches the Nightsong, it is revealed the Nightsong is a person. If the party refuses to let Balthazar take Nightsong away, Balthazar raises a number of Apostate  Defenders,  Destroyers, Librarians and  Sentinels from the various piles of bones surrounding the Nightsong and then attacks the party.

Limit a foe's sight range. It is easier to hit, and the creature will miss more often.  Attack rolls against it have  Advantage and the foe attacks with  Disadvantage.

Reduces the target's Movement Speed by 3 m / 10 ft.

 Sleep ( + )

Put creatures into a magical slumber. Select targets up to a combined 24 Hit Points.

 Topple ()   –   Quarterstaff

Damage: 1~4

Swipe at a creature to knock it Prone.
