Yrre the Sparkstruck was a gnomish inventor and tinkerer, with the creation of several in-game items attributed to them. They enjoyed puns, spikes, and most of all electricity, inventing many objects that created or benefited from 
Lightning.

Yrre became obsessed with lightning when they left the Underdark for the first time and encountered a powerful storm.[act1 a]Throughout their life, they invented many lightning-themed weapons and equipment, much of which was inspired by their sometime partner and fellow inventor, Lenore De Hurst.
Lenore was the owner of the Underdark's Arcane Tower, where the two lived for a time, working together on their inventions and magic.
