Sacrificed Cultist (Human) is an unconscious human aboard the Nautiloid in the Prologue. He is psionically drained by a red glowing contraption.

Involvement

Prologue

The sacrificed human cultist can be found next to a sacrificed high elf. If the player character interacts with the sacrificed human, the narrator states: "The man isn't dead, but he's totally unresponsive."

If the player character is The Dark Urge, the narrator adds: "You're but one step from oblivion's stupor yourself - still wading through your empty skull to think a single thought."

Nearby, a panel with 3 buttons can be pressed. Passing a DC 15 Arcana check reveals the sigil above each button. From left to right, the sigils are: Unleash, Aggression, and Annihilate. Unleash causes psionic energy to radiate from both the sacrificed human and high elf. Aggression causes the cultists to attack the party, initiating combat. Annihilate instantly kills them.
