How to learn
Classes:
- Class level 1: Any and all classes
Notes
- 1 + Strength modifier + Strength modifierBludgeoning damage total. adds your Strength modifier a second time giving
- Monk's replaces the 1 base damage of Unarmed Strike with 1d4. This increases to 1d6 at Monk level 3 and 1d8 at Monk level 9.
- Monk's may replace the Strength damage scaling with the Dexterity modifier if it is higher. Note that the bonus damage from Tavern Brawler will always use the Strength modifier.
- Many buffs and abilities that specify "weapon" attacks, such as the Paladin's , will not apply to unarmed strikes.
