Illusion School is one of the Subclasses of Wizard. These Wizards are specialized in illusory magic that can hide where they are, detect the invisible, or trick enemies into wasting actions.
Subclass Features
This subclass obtains all the features from its base class, Wizard, in addition to its unique features outlined below.
Level 2
Illusion Savant
- Halves the cost to learn Illusion spells from Scrolls. Learning these spells will only cost
25 gp per spell level.
- You can cast
as a Bonus Action. You can remain hidden while casting this spell. This spell can be cast while you are Silenced.
Level 6
- Once per Short Rest, as an Action, you can cast the spell
without consuming a Spell Slot.
Level 10
- As a Reaction, you magically fashion an illusory duplicate of yourself when attacked, causing the attack to miss. After use, this ability cannot be used until after a short rest.
