Belron Strongstep

From bg3.wiki

Belron Strongstep is a dwarven refugee in Rivington during Act Three.

If you're looking to enter the city, I hope your pockets are loaded. Bastards are charging a fortune

Involvement edit

Act Three edit

Belron can be found just outside the entrance to the Rivington General with Arne Jacobson Arne Jacobson. He is attempting to comfort Arne after the two were rejected from entering Baldur's Gate at the South Span Checkpoint because they did not have enough gold. Belron suggests pawning his deceased wife's ring or trying a different city.

Idle banter edit

  • Arne Jacobson
I'm done for. Don't have the coin to get into the city, don't have the strength to face another tenday on the road.
    • Belron Strongstep
      We'll figure something out.
      • Arne Jacobson
Flaming Fist will start clearing outsiders from Rivington and the refugee camps soon. Mark my words.
        • Belron Strongstep
There's more than one way to skin a tressym. We'll find a way into the city - you have my word.
  • Arne Jacobson
I've barely enough coppers left to eat, let alone buy papers to enter the city.
    • Belron Strongstep
      I could pawn my ring.
      • Arne Jacobson
You are not pawning your wife's ring. It's the last thing you have of her.
        • Belron Strongstep
She'd want me to sell it if it helps me feed a friend.
          • Arne Jacobson
She was a better person than both of us.
  • Belron Strongstep
We've got options, kid - how do you feel about Neverwinter?
    • Arne Jacobson
It'd be no different. We might trek all the way there and hear the same? "No refugees."
      • Arne Jacobson
Might as well starve here as starve there.
        • Belron Strongstep
          People will help. You'll see.
