Chalice Healing

Chalice Healing is a class action available to Circle of the Stars druids using  Starry Form: Chalice which lets them heal themselves or other creatures. This ability can only be used once per healing spell cast, but is otherwise a completely free action.

Heal yourself or another creature within reach.

Must cast a healing spell in order to use this spell.

Healing: 1~8 + modifiers

1d8 + Spellcasting modifier⁠Healing

Details

 Range: 9 m / 30 ft

 Recharge: Per turn

At higher levels

At Level 10,  Twinkling Constellations increases the base healing to 2d8⁠⁠hit points.

Notes

• The criteria for refreshing this action are somewhat restrictive. The following spells work:
  •  Healing Word
  •  Mass Healing Word
  •  Cure Wounds
  •  Mass Cure Wounds
  •  Vampiric Touch (including its free recasts)
  •  Prayer of Healing
  •  Heal
• It will not work with:
  •  Goodberry
  •  Warden of Vitality or  Restore Vitality
  •  Aid
  • The versions of  Healing Word and  Mass Healing Word granted by  Amulet of Restoration
  •  Selûne's Dream from  Amulet of Selûne's Chosen
  • Any spell that grants  temporary hit points instead of healing
  • Any non-spell actions which heal such as  Lay on Hands or  Transfuse Health
  • Healing with a non-healing spell through an effect like  Perilous Stakes or  Circlet of Mental Anguish
• In addition to being limited to one use per healing spell cast, this action is also limited to once per turn.

Bugs

• When receiving this ability via Starry Form, this spell is not properly granted with Wisdom as its spellcasting modifier, and will instead use the spellcasting modifier of the most recently acquired spellcasting class.
