Races:
- Character level 5: Duergar
(Character level is the sum of all class levels for a multi-classed character.)
Notes
- This spell counts as a cantrip, but does not fall under any school of magic. This means it interacts with some cantrip-related features like , but not school-specific features like Illusion Quickening.
- Although limited to one casting per combat, the Duergar version of this spell can otherwise be cast as often as desired outside of combat.
- Given all the above, the Duergar version is arguably much more powerful than the standard invisibility spell. The only drawback of this version is that the caster may only apply it on themselves.
- Aside from duration, this racial version functions exactly like the Level 2 Invisibility spell. Refer to Invisibility notes for details.
- Only Greater Invisibility offers any stealth checks to maintain invisibility when it might otherwise break.
