Notes

  • This Duergar racial spell counts as a cantrip, but does not fall under any school of magic. This means it interacts with some cantrip-related features like War MagicWar Magic, but not school-specific features like Illusion Quickening.
  • Although limited to one casting in combat, this version of invisibility can otherwise be cast as often as desired outside of combat.
  • Aside from duration, this racial version functions exactly like the Level 2 Invisibility spell. Refer to Invisibility notes for details.
  • Given its recastability and unlimited duration, this cantrip version is arguably much more powerful than the standard invisibilityinvisibility spell. The only drawback of this version is that the caster may only apply it on themselves.
  • Only Greater InvisibilityGreater Invisibility offers any stealth checks to maintain invisibility when it might otherwise break.
