Upper City

Upper City is a region in Baldur's Gate in Act Three.^[1] The Upper City can only be accessed during the quest ⁠Confront the Elder Brain. Two buildings in the upper city can be accessed freely prior to this quest through specific mechanics. Ramazith's Tower is linked to ⁠Sorcerous Sundries by portal, and the Szarr Palace has a door on its ramparts, which are in the lower city.^[2]
