Chromatic Orb: Fire is a level 1 evocation spell. Chromatic Orb: Fire is a variant of the Chromatic Orb spell. This variant allows spellcasters to hurl a ball of fire, dealing fire damage and creating a fire surface.

Description

Hurl a sphere of energy that deals 2d8Fire damage and create a Fire Surface.

At higher levels

• When the spell is cast at 2nd Level or higher, the damage increases by
  1d8 (1~8) Fire damage
  for each spell slot level above 1st.

Notes

Chromatic Orb: Fire can indirectly cause  Burning on their target, through the Fire Surface the spell creates.

 Burning

• Takes 1d4Fire damage per turn.
• Can be removed with the  Help action, using a Healing Type Potion or gaining  Wet.
• Immune from if  Wet.
•  Dip action can be used on Burning characters and/or objects.
