Cleave only reduces the damage from your weapon damage dice and your Strength modifier. Flat damage bonus effects such as from Great Weapon Master or Rage are not reduced.
If there are more than 3 enemies in the attack area, this action targets the 3 closest enemies.
Cleave does not hit friendly targets.
