Lightning Breath

Lightning Breath is a Dragonborn racial action. This ability allows them to breathe a column of damaging lightning in a target direction.

Spew forth a column of lightning.

Recharge: Short rest

At higher levels

• At character level 6, the damage increases to 3d6 Lightning.
• At character level 11, the damage increases to 4d6 Lightning.

How to learn

Races:

• Character level 1: Blue Dragonborn, and Bronze Dragonborn

(Character level is the sum of all class levels for a multi-classed character.)

Notes

• Breath attacks use spell save DC calculated using Constitution. This means that, despite the unusual casting ability, breath attacks still benefit from anything that improves spell save DC.

Bugs

• The in-game tooltip incorrectly describes the area of effect as a cone, while it is instead a line.
