Involvement edit
Milil is a minor deity of song, who had been cast out of Faerûn's pantheon and banished to the Fugue Plane by Cyric. Withers pulled him back in order to "honour the worthy" with his songs.
The player character may pass a passive Religion check during conversation to recognize him, greatly improving his spirits. Alternatively, the player character can pretend to recognize him by passing a DC 18 Deception check.
He functions as a jukebox for the Epilogue celebration; talking to him allows to change the song that is playing.
Combat edit
Milil is immune to all damage. If attacked, he casts
until the player character is nearly downed, then vanishes from the celebration entirely.Attacks and abilities edit
Divine Performance edit
Milil plays six new variations of songs:
- "Ale of Balduran" - a version of the "Song of Balduran"
- "Bard Dance"
- "New Light" - a version of "Last Light"
- "Streets and Faces"
- "We Live Another Day" - a version of "I Want to Live"
- "Endless Spring" - a new song specific to the epilogue
Notes edit
- Milil bears a close physical resemblance to Baldur's Gate 3 composer Borislav Slavov.[1]
- Will de Renzy-Martin was the final actor to be cast in Baldur's Gate 3.
