Sponge is a common Miscellaneous item. Primarily of use for bartering or sale to Traders. Using this will clean off dirt, blood, and face-paint, and you will remove conditions that make you smell.

Soap Bar and 
Holy Hand Soap can clean you without using an action.- In Patch 5, the cleaning effect is bugged and using the Soap bar or Sponge won't clean you.
Sponge Tray still works.
