The Whispering Promise: Difference between revisions

The Whispering Promise is an uncommon Ring that grants a bonus to Attack Rolls and Saving Throws to creatures healed by the wearer.

A soft, soothing voice floats from this ring, reciting a prayer over and over.

Properties

The wearer of this item gains:

Blessed Mercy: When you heal a creature, it gains a +1d4 bonus to Attack rolls and Saving throws for 2 turns.

Act One:
- Sold by Volo in the Druid Grove. He'll leave the area after your first visit. The player needs to complete Rescue Volo to be able to trade with him again inside the camp. Volo will leave the camp if he performs his surgery.
- Grat the Trader in the Goblin Camp
Act Two:
- Sold by Volo if he has not yet performed his surgery. He will remain as a trader until the end of the act.
Act Three:
- Sold by Volo after rescuing him from the angry mob in front of the Steel Watch Foundry.

Applies the same condition as the standard Bless spell, and therefore cannot stack with it.
Multi-target healing abilities such as Mass Healing Word will apply the effect to all affected characters, including the caster.
Drinking a Potion of Healing counts as healing oneself and triggers the effect of this ring as well.
Ring of Regeneration counts as healing oneself and triggers the effect of this ring as well.
The self-healing from Life Domain Cleric's Blessed Healer does not trigger the effect.
This buff, despite also being called Bless, can not be enhanced by Staff of Arcane Blessing
