Woad's Ensnaring Strike is a level 1 conjuration spell. This spell allows the wielder of Wood Woad Shield to bash a target with their shield and possibly  Ensnare it.

Description

Your attack summons thorny vines, dealing Weapon Damage and possibly  Ensnaring your target.

• Cannot move and takes 1d6Piercing damage per turn.
• Attack rolls against the creature have Advantage, while the creature's Attack Rolls and Dexterity Saving throws have Disadvantage.

Notes

• Compared to the normal  Ensnaring Strike (Melee), this spell only costs a Bonus action, does not require concentration, does not involve an Attack roll, and only lasts 3 turns.
