• Reading the book produces a  Scroll of Bestial Communion.

[This tome recounts the experience of an unfortunate halfling forced to join the  Seelie Court during an ill-fated tour of the  Beastlands. It is caked with dust and grime; yellowed feathers and black fur fall from between its pages.]

Notes

• The  Scroll of Bestial Communion can be transcribed into a wizard's spellbook, which allows the spell to be cast using a  Level 6 Spell Slot, once per short rest.
• The word "seelie" has a few possible meanings – it may refer to good-aligned fey in general, to a specific type of fey creature, to one of the fey courts, or to the home realm of said courts. Context implies that the latter two meanings are used here.
