The wearer of this item gains:

Absorb Elements

Absorb elemental damage once per Short Rest. Take half damage from the next elemental attack targeting you, and deal an additional 1d6 of that element type on your next attack.

Notes

• Absorb Elements additional elemental damage applies only to weapon attacks, and can apply its damage bonus multiple times to a single weapon attack.

Regarding Absorb Elements:

• This reaction halves damage by granting resistance to the elemental damage type when triggered. Since resistances do not stack, this will not reduce the damage further if the user already has the applicable resistances.
• Absorb Elements can apply its damage bonus multiple times to a single weapon attack.

Bugs

• Due to a coding error, Absorb Elements only functions once per Long Rest instead of once per Short Rest.

Regarding Absorb Elements:

• This reaction cannot be used while affected by  Starry Form.
