Cloak of the Weave is a very rare Cloak that allows the wearer to absorb a small amount of magical damage, and add it to their next attack. It also increases Spell Save DC and Spell Attack Rolls.

Part of an outfit worn by the wizard  Tenser when he was inducted into the organization of eminent wizards called the Circle of Eight.

You gain a +1 bonus to Spell Save DC and Spell Attack rolls.

Absorb Elements

Absorb elemental damage once per Short Rest. Take half damage from the next elemental attack targeting you, and deal an additional 1d6 of that element type on your next attack.

Notes

Regarding Absorb Elements:

• This reaction halves damage by granting resistance to the elemental damage type when triggered. Since resistances do not stack, this will not reduce the damage further if the user already has the applicable resistances.
• Absorb Elements can apply its damage bonus multiple times to a single weapon attack.

Bugs

• This item lacks the necessary passives in the game code to allow Absorb Elements to function properly.

Regarding Absorb Elements:

• This reaction cannot be used while affected by  Starry Form.
