Grave Shot is a unique weapon action used by Houndmaster Pol. It fires a bolt of necrotic damage which can be significantly strengthened by consuming collected  Predator Essence.

Loose a bolt of necrotic energy. You can spend  Predator Essence to empower the shot.

Each Predator Essence adds 4d10⁠⁠Necrotic and heals you for 4d10⁠⁠Hit Points.

• With  Predator Essence: 1, the attack deals 5d10 + 5⁠⁠Necrotic and heals 4d10⁠⁠Hit Points.
• With  Predator Essence: 2, the attack deals 9d10 + 5⁠⁠Necrotic and heals 8d10⁠⁠Hit Points.
• With  Predator Essence: 3, the attack deals 13d10 + 5⁠⁠Necrotic and heals 12d10⁠⁠Hit Points.
• With  Predator Essence: 4, the attack deals 17d10 + 5⁠⁠Necrotic and heals 16d10⁠⁠Hit Points.
• With  Predator Essence: 5, the attack deals 21d10 + 5⁠⁠Necrotic and heals 20d10⁠⁠Hit Points.
• With  Predator Essence: 6, the attack deals 25d10 + 5⁠⁠Necrotic and heals 24d10⁠⁠Hit Points.

Notes

• While this attack is capable of dealing tremendous damage, it is unlikely that Houndmaster Pol will be able to reach high amounts of  Predator Essence. The sequence of events required to gain Predator Essence is:
  • Pol casts  Houndmaster's Mark on target.
  • One of Pol's hounds (Gordis, Rocky, or Zina) lands an attack on the marked creature and gains a  Prey Essence.
  • The hound runs back to Pol and uses  Have Nice Gift! to turn the Prey Essence into a stack of Predator Essence for Pol.
