Pol

Houndmaster Pol is a ghost who can be found in the Durinbold Mausoleum in Baldur's Gate's Lower City.

Overview

In life, Pol was the houndmaster of the patriar Durinbold family, of Durinbold Cheese Wedge fame.

He and his three ghostly dogs (Gordis, Rocky, and Zina) attack the party if their sarcophagi are disturbed with a successful  DC 15 Strength Check.

Notable Loot

Though nothing can be found in his ectoplasmic pile when defeated, his sarcophagus can be looted to find:

• Scroll of Animal Friendship
• Potion of Animal Speaking
• Zina, Gordis, and Rocky's dog collars

Notes

• Gordis, Rocky, and Zina use  Have Nice Gift! to empower Houndmaster Pol with  Prey Essence.
