Greater Kushigo Counter is a passive feature that lets users retaliate against melee attacks that miss.

Description

The wearer can use a Reaction to make an Unarmed Strike Unarmed Strike against any attacker that misses.

How to learn

Granted by the equipment:

Notes

  • This attack triggers Extra Attack Extra Attack, if it is used during player character's turn.
    • If this attack is done while Extra Attack (from a normal attack) is activated, both Extra Attacks (from normal attack and Greater Kushigo Counter) are lost.
      • Sentinel: Vengeance attack from an enemy can trigger Greater Kushigo Counter at the wrong moment and cause the loss of both Extra Attacks.
    • On Honour mode, monks with extra action (at least from Haste Haste and Elixir of Bloodlust) can get Extra Attack only once per turn, while characters without extra actions get Extra Attack for both the normal attack and the Greater Kushigo Counter. Thus, both a hasted and a non-hasted monk can get 4 attacks per turn using Greater Kushigo Counter.
