Notes

  • The idol can only be obtained via stealing.
  • Stealing this item causes the druids to immediately become hostile and attack both the party and the tieflings in the Druid Grove.
  • Stealing this item also grants the inspiration Heretic Heretic to party members with the Criminal Criminal background.
  • If the idol is stolen after the ritual has been stopped (either by completing Investigate Kagha Investigate Kagha or by saving the grove from the Goblins), the druids do not automatically become hostile if not caught in the act. Shortly after stealing the idol one of the druids interrogates the party. Passing a Deception Deception or Intimidation Intimidation check lets the party get away.
  • Alternatively, if using the effects of Feign Death Feign Death or Invisibility Invisibility, and there is no other party member near, the druids are not able to interrogate anyone and the investigation ends shortly after.
  • Although arguably meeting all the criteria of a quest item and important to the game's story, this item is tagged in-game as "common".
