Nature is an Intelligence-based Skill.

The higher a creature's Intelligence Score, the more likely they will succeed on Nature Checks to recognize plants and natural creatures.

Proficiency[edit section | visual editor]

Characters who are proficient in Nature can add their Proficiency Bonus when making Ability CheckAbility Checks.

The following classes can choose to select Nature as a proficient skill at Level 1:

Knowledge domain Clerics can choose to gain proficiency in Nature at Level 1 via Blessings of KnowledgeBlessings of Knowledge. If chosen, they can add double their Proficiency Bonus when making Nature checks.

Nature domain Clerics gain Acolyte of NatureAcolyte of Nature which grants Nature proficiency.

Ways to boost or penalize[edit section | visual editor]

Raising or lowering Intelligence will also boost/penalize the Intelligence modifier (and therefore Nature) by 1 every even number, up or down.
