How to learn

Other ways to learn:

  • This class action is only gained if AlfiraAlfira survives to the end of Act Two, and the talking party member agrees to perform with her for the tiefling kids inside the throne room of Moonrise Towers.
    • Alfira must not be told to give up being a Bard when met in the Emerald Grove in Act One.
    • The talking party member must also be a Bard.
    • Multiple Bards in the party can acquire the ability by talking to Alfira one after another.

Notes

  • As this effect triggers via a toggled passive rather than a Reaction, the player has less control over when and how this bonus is used. For example, the bonus to Saving Throws is immediately expended the first time an affected character is targeted by any attack or ability (whether friendly or hostile), rather than only on a hostile attack or ability in which the Saving Throw bonus might prevent or mitigate an incoming effect.
  • Internally, this class action is referred to in developer comments as Shining Dawn, a possible reference to her song in Act One which is called Weeping Dawn.

Bugs

  • Due to a coding error, this condition also grants the Bardic Inspiration resource and reactions of a d6 Bardic Inspiration. Using one of the reactions expends the Bardic Inspiration charge but does not remove the Improved Bardic Inspiration condition, leaving non-bard characters with an empty, nonreplenishable Bardic Inspiration charge slot until the condition ends.
