Mantle of Inspiration (passive feature)

Mantle of Inspiration is a passive feature that protects the user with a mantle that charms enemies that hit them.

Description

Imbued with bardic vigour. When a creature hits you with a melee attack, they become  Charmed.

Duration: 1 turn

• Cannot attack the spellcaster. The spellcaster has  Advantage on Charisma Checks in dialogue.

Notes

• The charm effect does not protect against various Multiattack abilities. It charms the attacker after the first hit of the multiattack but this does not prevent the subsequent attacks in the sequence. It works properly against enemies making multiple separate attacks through  Extra Attack or similar effects.
