Mask of Terror is a human member of Auntie Ethel's flock. He is encountered in the Overgrown Tunnel alongside the Mask of Regret, Mask of Vengeance, and Mask of Servitude.
Like the other Masks, the Mask of Terror is initially hostile by virtue of wearing a Whispering Mask, placing him under the charming effect of
Part of the Flock.
If the party manages to encounter him after Ethel was defeated, he will no longer be hostile. However, he is too far gone to recover his sanity, and believes that "Auntie is resting."
Attacks and abilities[edit | edit source]
Mask of Terror must succeed a DC 17 Wisdom saving throw at the start of each of his turns or become affected by
Hag's Pawn. If he succeeds the throw, he will pass the turn without harming the party.
