The Mask of Terror is a human member of Auntie Ethel'sAuntie Ethel's flock. He is in the Overgrown Tunnel inside the Riverside Teahouse / Gnarled Teahouse in Act One.

Like the other Masks, the Mask of Terror is initially hostile by virtue of wearing a Whispering Mask, placing him under the CharmingCharming effect of Part of the FlockPart of the Flock.

If he is encountered after Ethel is dead, he is no longer hostile, but his sanity is gone. He remains hostile if Ethel is defeated but the party accept the offer of Hag's Hair and let Ethel escape.

Mask of Terror must succeed a DC 17 Wisdom Saving ThrowDC 17 Wisdom Saving Throw at the start of each of his turns or become affected by Hag's PawnHag's Pawn. If he succeeds the save, he passes his turn without harming the party.
