Description
Sculpt a magical nexus that allows those within to take actions and bonus actions interchangeably.
(Honour Mode only) Instead of allowing bonus actions and actions to be used interchangeably, Mind Sanctuary just grants Mind Sanctuary: Haste . The Mind Sanctuary removes and prevents other sources of Slowed or Hastened conditions affecting creatures within it.Properties

Mind Sanctuary

Anyone within the Mind Sanctuary can take actions and bonus actions interchangeably.
- Type: Summoned
Condition: Within the Mind Sanctuary
Within the Mind Sanctuary
- Affected entity can take actions and bonus actions interchangeably, as long as it stays within the mind sanctuary.
- After using both action and bonus action, this condition ends and the affected entity gains the Mind Sanctuary: Depleted condition.
How to learn
Used by creatures: Full-Illithid and Partial-illithid
Other ways to learn:
- After becoming a Partial-Illithid, unlock from the illithid power skill tree with a Mind Flayer Parasite Specimen after obtaining one of the following:
Notes
- The Full-Illithid version does not have a cooldown and can be used at-will.
- If an already hastened creature enters the Honour Mode version, they immediately become Lethargic, as the mind sanctuary overrides and thereby ends their existing haste.
Bugs
- Using Opportunity Attack, Shield Blow, or War Caster: Opportunity Spell while under the effects of Mind Sanctuary on any difficulty other than Honour Mode takes away an action from the character's current turn if used during their turn or their next turn if it isn't their turn.
- Ending the character's turn with an action while the animation is still ongoing may take an action away from their next turn. Despite this, doing the timing correctly causes the character to not consume class resources.
