Slinging Shoes is a pair of Boots that deal psychic damage and return to the wearer when thrown.
These shoes were formerly enchanted to return to their owner's feet. This caused a great deal of trouble for owners, who, while wearing a slipper or a nice heeled number, kept being kicked in the ankles by jealous footwear.

Where to find
- Sold by Tara in the Lower City. She can be found on the roof of Highberry's Home (the house hosting the Wine Festival) at X: -1 Y: -39. Tara only accepts Fish and/or magical items in exchange for this item.
- This is Tara's second vendor location and second item sold. Tara only appears at this location after you have done the following:
- Spoken to her on the roof of the Open Hand Temple with Gale in your party during the Find the Missing Letters quest
- Visited her on the roof of the Devil's Fee X: -29 Y: 6 and purchased the Hat of the Sharp Caster from her
- Taken a Long Rest since purchasing her first item

Notes
- As the Slinging Shoes are rather light, they only deal a base of 1
Bludgeoning damage when thrown (before applying any modifiers and the 2d4Psychic damage from Shoe Slinger). - Much like the Homing Weapons, the Slinging Shoes will automatically equip themselves onto the thrower when they return. If the thrower has a different item of Footwear equipped when throwing the Slinging Shoes, it will be unequipped.
