Snowburst

Snowburst is a passive feature that creates ice surfaces wherever the wearer deals cold damage.

Description

When the wearer deals ⁠Cold damage, they also create a ⁠4.5 m / 15 ft circle of  Ice around the target(s).

• The affected creature cannot move or take  Actions,  Bonus Actions, or  Reactions, and has Disadvantage on Strength and Dexterity saving throws.
• Attacks against a Prone creature have Advantage if made within 3 m / 10 ft of the creature.
• A Prone creature must spend half its Movement Speed to stand up.
  • A character with the Athlete feat spends only 1.5 m / 5 ft of Movement Speed to stand up.

Notes

• Snowburst does not work with some spell effects that deal Cold damage after the initial casting, such as  Hunger of Hadar and the retaliation damage from  Armour of Agathys and  Fire Shield: Chill.
