Oath of Vengeance is one of the Subclasses of Paladin. It is not yet available in Early Access, but will be added in the full release.

Oath

Here is the full text of the Oath of Vengeance. For more details, see Oaths and Oathbreaking.

Fight the Greater Evil. Faced with a choice of fighting my sworn foes or combating a lesser evil, I choose the greater evil.

No Mercy for the Wicked. Ordinary foes might win my mercy, but my sworn enemies do not.

By Any Means Necessary. My qualms can't get in the way of exterminating my foes.

Restitution. If my foes wreak ruin on the world, it is because I failed to stop them. I must help those harmed by their misdeeds.

Subclass Features

Level 1

  • Channel Oath: Inquisitor's Might: Bonus Action. You or an ally deal an additional 1 Radiant damage on weapon attacks and possibly Daze on hit. Lasts 2 turns.

Level 3

  • Channel Oath: Abjure Enemy: Frighten an enemy within 18m. Fiends and Undead have disadvantage on their saving throw. WIS save. On safe: Target is Slowed.
  • Channel Oath: Vow of Enmity: Gain advantage on attack rolls against target enemy within 3m. Lasts 10 turns. Bonus Action.
  • Known Spell: Bane
  • Known Spell: Hunter's Mark

  • Relentless Avenger: If you hit an enemy with an Opportunity Attack, gain 4.5m movement next turn.
