Involvement[edit | edit source]

Act Two[edit | edit source]

'Barnabus' and his fellow gnolls, 'Timothy' 'Timothy' and 'Tomelia' 'Tomelia', work in Moonrise Towers' kitchens, being trained against their vicious nature by Linsella Linsella to speak and behave courteously.

After seeing a demonstration of Linsella's abilities, her controlling connection over 'Barnabus' can be broken by passing a DC 16 Wisdom check. The gnolls attack and kill Linsella, then attack the party unless another skill check is passed.

If the Dark Urge severs Linsella's control over 'Barnabus', he grovels to his "Lord", and he and the two other gnolls become allies.

The gnolls aid the party's assault on Moonrise Towers if they were befriended and freed from Linsella's hold.
