Gond is the Faerûnian god of craft, smithing and inventiveness. His following is known as The Church of Gond or Gondarism, which is a religious organization dedicated to the worship of Gond. He's mostly revered by Gnomes.

Background[edit | edit source]

Prior to the events of Baldur's Gate 3, many Gondian members of Baldur's Gate were forced into serving Gortash Gortash and his Banite cultists, working on the construction of Steel Watchers inside the Steel Watch Foundry. To ensure the Gondians would follow Gortash's bidding, they are forced to wear Kill Collars, which can be detonated, killing them instantly. Gortash also ordered for the families of the Gondian engineers to be taken away to the Iron Throne.
