Shuurga

From bg3.wiki
Revision as of 22:32, 30 July 2024 by NCBlizzy (talk | contribs)

Shuurga is a half-orc wizard and Manip serving as an officer of the Flaming Fist. She led a small group of Fists to rescue Grand Duke Ravengard, but was captured and sent to the Mind Flayer Colony to be transformed.

Involvement

Mind Flayer Colony

Shuurga can be encountered in Act Two, where she is imprisoned within a transformation pod inside of the Mind Flayer Colony Close to her are Gauntlet Yeva and Zevlor in their own pods, as well as a handful of newly-transformed Mind Flayers. Interacting with a nearby terminal will allow the party to either release her and all other prisoners, or kill all the occupants. Releasing her will start a fight with the Mind Flayers and Shuurga will assist in the upcoming fight.

Provided she survives, Shuurga will thank the party and ask the party if Duke Ravengard has been saved, before immediately coming to the conclusion that he has yet to be saved all by herself. Yeva nearby will remark that half of the Flaming Fists that were originally on this mission were either killed or have been transformed into the Mind Flayers they just killed. Shuurga then presumably escapes the Mind Flayer Colony with Zevlor and Yeva[note 1].

Notes

  1. Only if Zevlor and Yeva survive, as Zevlor says that he will look for survivors and bring them out of there.
  • Shuurga is presumably the Manip that Counsellor Florrick has ordered Gauntlet Yeva to report to for reinforcements in order to rescue Ravengard. The only other plausible alternative is Manip Vidor, who remains at Florrick's side throughout the entirety of Act Two.
  • Despite being a wizard, having a caster archetype, and eight levels' worth of spell slots, Shuurga has no spells or cantrips to cast and is forced to fight in melee.
  • Despite being a half-orc, Shuurga has none of the racial features that come with being one.
  • Shuurga is mechanically naked and wears no armour; the Flaming Fist chain mail that she wears is purely cosmetic.
  • Shuurga's portrait is special in how it has a completely unique pose that is not found in any other half-orc portrait in the game.
