Involvement[edit | edit source]

Act One[edit | edit source]

As one of Kagha Kagha's novices, Loic is usually found in the Inner Sanctum of the Grove.

Banter[edit | edit source]

If Arabella Arabella was spared, Marcoryl Marcoryl and Loic will debate the nuances of killing children and stealing idols in the following conversations:

Conversation One[edit | edit source]

  • Marcoryl: Ridiculous. We just let her run off!
    • Loic: She's a child.
  • Marcoryl: A devil child. One who tried to steal from us.
    • Loic: Yet she failed - that's what matters.

Conversation Two[edit | edit source]

  • Loic: This will all be over, the ritual is almost finished.
    • Marcoryl: What if they try to steal from us? Again?
  • Loic: We've shown them once - we take grove law seriously.
    • Marcoryl: By letting that child escape without consequence? We might as well have lain down on the ground and let them trample over us.

Conversation Three[edit | edit source]

  • Loic: I don't want blood on my hands.
    • Marcoryl: We have the right to defend our home.
  • Loic: So that's what you want? To kill innocents?
    • Marcoryl: I don't want to kill anyone. But I won't let the grove be harmed - not again.

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • Despite being nominally a druid, Loic is in all gameplay measures a fighter. As he is the only druid of the Emerald Grove with the fighter class, it is likely that this is an accidental oversight dating all the way back to Early Access; before the addition of druid as a class, the druids of the grove were either fighters or wizards.
