Hunter is one of the subclasses of Ranger. These Rangers are more specialized in dealing high damage to enemies, using Spellcasting, and area of effect and utility attacks to hunt down their prey.

Level 3 edit

Hunter's Prey
You specialize in fighting specific threats. Choose one of the following features:

Colossus SlayerColossus Slayer Once per turn, your weapon attack deals an extra 1d8 damage if the target is below its Hit Point maximum. -
Giant KillerGiant Killer If a Large or bigger creature attacks you, you can use your Reaction to make a melee attack. -
Horde BreakerHorde Breaker Target two creatures standing close to each other, attacking them in quick succession.

Level 7 edit

Defensive Tactics
Faced with enemies that can instill dread, attack in frenzied bursts, and swarm in great numbers, rangers inevitably develop cunning methods of defence. Choose 1 of the following:

Level 11 edit

VolleyVolley (Action)
Fire a cascade of magical broadheads and bodkin arrows upon nearby foes.
Whirlwind AttackWhirlwind Attack (Action)
Strike out at all nearby foes, making separate Attack rolls against each target.
