Giant Killer

Giant Killer is a Hunter ranger passive feature and reaction. This ability allows rangers to retaliate with a melee attack using their reactions when attacked by a large creature.

Description

If a Large or bigger creature attacks you, you can use your reaction to retaliate with a melee attack.

You must be able to see the creature, and it must be within 2 m (7 ft) of you.

How to learn

Classes:

• Class level 3: Hunter

Notes

• Many larger creatures have attack ranges greater than 2 m (7 ft). As a result, these creatures will often attack from too far away to trigger this reaction. This range cannot be improved by equipping an  Extra Reach weapon.

Bugs

• The passive incorrectly states the creature must be within 1.5 m (5 ft).
