Effect

• Consume the potion to grant yourself  Hastened

 Action

•  Throw the potion to grant  Hastened to all creatures in an area
  •  Range: 18 m / 60 ft
  •  AoE: 1 m / 3 ft (Radius)

• The affected creature acquires the following:
  • +2 to  Armour Class and Advantage on Dexterity Saving throws
  • An increase in Movement Speed of 9 m / 30 ft
  • An additional  Action
• When the condition ends, the affected creature becomes  Lethargic and is unable to move or take Actions for 1 turn.

• Sold by various merchants throughout the game (provided the player character is of high enough level, often 5+); examples of merchants selling this item include:

Notes

• When the  Hastened effect ends, affected creatures normally receive the  Lethargic condition, causing them to miss their next turn.
• Using another Potion of Speed while already Hastened can effectively delay the Lethargic condition. When using a new Potion of Speed, the Hastened effect of the old one ends immediately, applying Lethargic right away, but Lethargic only lasts until the end of the current turn; if a creature is ready to end its turn (e.g. all actions are used) before consuming the second Potion of Speed (e.g. using the last Bonus action to drink the new one), then nothing is lost.
