Commander's Strike is a Battle Master Battle Master Action. This combat manoeuvre allows the Fighter to expend an action, bonus action, and Superiority Dice to have an ally immediately make a weapon attack as a reaction.

Description

Direct an ally to strike a foe. The ally immediately uses a reaction to make a weapon attack.

  • Commander's Strike Triggers Extra Attack Extra Attack for the character using it.
    • The weapon attack given to an ally does not trigger extra attack, since it doesn't cost an Action.
  • Best used on a character that can make strong weapon attacks, such as a Paladin or a Rogue.
    • This is a potent way to trigger an extra off-turn Sneak Attack from a Rogue's reaction, especially so if they use a ranged weapon as there is no way to use it for Opportunity Attacks otherwise.
