Notes

  • Onus of Battle Onus of Battle ends immediately after the granted attack is made, even if it misses.
  • The granted attack must be a melee weapon attack and cannot be ranged or an unarmed strike.
  • Commander's Strike triggers Extra Attack Extra Attack for the character using this manoeuvre.
    • The weapon attack given to an ally does not trigger extra attack, since it does not cost an Action.
  • Best used on a character that can make strong weapon attacks, such as a Paladin or a Rogue. Note, however, that under most circumstances, Rogues only get one sneak attack (typically on their turn) per combat round. So granting a Rogue an extra attack here usually does not afford the desired extra sneak attack damage.
