Duke Ravengard's Longsword image

Duke Ravengard's Longsword is a rare +1 Longsword which increases the wielder's Charisma by +2 and can also grant allies temporary hit points based on their respective Charisma modifiers.

Cradling his newborn son awkwardly, the Duke's face pulled into a rictus of misery. His love Francesca smiled at him, briefly, and died. He stared at her until the boy cried, and he told the boy it would be all right, though he himself did not believe it.

Where to find

Notes

  • The sword can be acquired by casting Command: Drop Command: Drop on Duke Ravengurad. The spell must be cast by a character who is not considered an ally: Either by a companion that was not part of the original rescue party, or by using a Disguise Self Disguise Self. Wyll Wyll permanently leaves the party and turns hostile if the Duke notices his sword being stolen. This can be prevented by immediately leaving the camp after picking up the sword.

Bugs

  • The temporary hit points granted by Stirring Execution are actually based on the Charisma modifiers of the characters receiving them, not the character delivering the killing blow with this sword. The minimum of 1 still applies.
    • The temporary hit points only have a StackPriority of 1, and as such are overridden by any other source of temporary hit points that have a StackPriority of 1 or higher, even if the new source is of a lesser value.
