Argument Solver

Argument Solver is an uncommon +1 Greatclub that grants the wielder the Poison Mist weapon action, which deals extra Poison damage and creates a poison cloud.

Few things solve a disagreement faster than displaying a greatclub. And this one reeks, too.

The holder of this item gains:

Main Hand Only

Tenacity: When you miss a melee attack, you deal Strength Modifier⁠⁠Bludgeoning damage (minimum of 1) anyway.

Weapon actions

If you have proficiency, equip in main hand to gain:

 Concussive Smash (): Hit an enemy with all your might to deal damage and possibly  Daze them. ( Recharge: Short rest.)

 Backbreaker (): Put extra force behind your strike to possibly knock your enemy  Prone. ( Recharge: Short rest.)

Special weapon actions

This weapon also grants the following:

 Poison Mist (): On a hit, deal extra ⁠Poison damage equal to your proficiency bonus and surround the target in a noxious cloud that possibly  Poisons those within it. ( Recharge: Short rest.)

If a weapon action misses, using Tenacity does not trigger its effects.
As Tenacity deals weapon damage even if an attack misses, it can trigger many on-hit effects from equipment. For example, from the  Gloves of Power, the  Callous Glow Ring, weapon coatings, or any infusion from the  Ring of Elemental Infusion.

Notes included from Poison Mist:

Targets inside the Poison Cloud created by Poison Mist roll their saving throws against your spell save DC rather than your weapon action DC.
This action is actually an AoE attack. After striking the main target, an additional attack is made against every creature and object within the 1.5 m (5 ft) cloud radius around that target, including allies. Additional poison clouds are then spawned for each creature and object struck this way.

Bugs included from Tenacity:

As  Horde Breaker (Melee) rolls invisible, zero-damage weapon attacks against all enemies in the Horde Breaker area of effect, Tenacity can be prompted to trigger against them even if the first attack hits. It is therefore possible to score 2 hits in one attack: the full attack against the original Horde Breaker target and a Tenacity hit against another target.
