Command (Grovel)

Command (Grovel) is a variant of the Level 1 Enchantment Spell, Command. This spell allows spellcasters to order their target to temporarily fall Prone and do nothing else.

Description

Command a creature to fall Prone on its turn and do nothing else.

Properties

Action + Level 1 Spell Slot

Available to level 1 Bard, Cleric and level 2 Paladin.

• Range: 18m / 60ft
• Saving Throw: Wisdom

Command: Grovel Duration: 1 turn

• Prone:
  • Can't move or act, and has Disadvantage on Strength and Dexterity Saving Throws.
  • Attacks against a Prone creature have Advantage if they're made within 3m / 10ft of the creature.
  • A Prone creature must spend half its Movement Speed to stand up.
• Cannot take Actions, Bonus Actions, or Reactions.

At Higher Levels

When the spell is cast at 2nd Level or higher, you can target an additional creature for each spell slot level above 1st. The creatures must be within 9m / 30ft of each other.
