Dawnmaster's Crest

 Dawnmaster's Crest can be used during the quest ⁠Find the Blood of Lathander to disable the artefact's defences in the Rosymorn Monastery.

This unusually shaped crest bears the markings of a Lathanderian high priest, but its practical function is unclear.

Where to find

• In a hidden chamber which appears once the Ceremonial Longsword, Ceremonial Mace, Ceremonial Warhammer and Ceremonial Battleaxe are placed on their respective altars:
  • Dawnmaster Welkinglory (North-western Altar) - Ceremonial Longsword (already in place)
  • Dawnmaster Vaseid (South-western Altar) - Ceremonial Battleaxe
  • Dawnmaster Seed (North-eastern Altar)- Ceremonial Warhammer
  • Dawnmaster Stockhold (South-eastern Altar)- Ceremonial Mace

Notes

• Any longswords, maces, warhammers, or battleaxes also work as long as they are placed on the correct altars.
• Alternatively, passing a passive  DC 10 Perception check reveals the hidden chamber containing the crest, and a  DC 30 Sleight of Hand check can unlock it, bypassing the need to put the weapons on the altars.
