Hi. I've hreard people say that BG3 is the one of the greatest games of all time because you can do whatever you want. And while I do agree with the first part of the statement, there have been too many times where I have felt that I was stopped from doing something my dear Metgargh would have loved to do.

This is not real criticism of the game, the only reason I noticed these if because it's the first game I've played that's so free that I feel like I should have been able to do it.

This page will be written in first person as if written by my favorite half-orc cleric, at the moment when the events happened.

Act One[edit | edit source]

Reporting Mattis do the druids

For my first contact with society since I was abducted by the Illithids, this little kid tried to rob me. Nevertheless, it seems it is impossible to report thieves to the druids of the Emerald Grove, which is particularly surprising given the fact I was tasked with overseeing a trial.

Knocking at Auntie Ethel's door

After a tiresome journey in the Underdark, I was delighted to find a Mushroom Circle leading me to the Sunlit Wetlands. Nevertheless, I seem to have appeared in a lady's backyard, the only way down being through her locked back door. Not wanting to appear as if breaking in the charming women's teahouse, I was very shocked to discover no sound was produced when banging the wood with my relatively buff fists.

Giving Mayrina emotional support

Earlier today, my companion Shadowheart spoke with the corps of Mayrina's brother Johl, who revealed he believed his sister would be a good mother. Nevertheless, when wanting to reassure Mayrina by transmitting her brother's message, it was as if the words couldn't come out of my mouth.

Reporting Kagha to Halsin

I found a Letter to Kagha in the Putrid Bog exposing a plot by Shadow Druids to take control over the Emerald Grove. When I showed it to Halsin, who was staying at my camp, he didn't seem able to read! How embarrassing for an archdruid...

Telling Kith'rak Voss he is suspected of treason

I found a note, 'Hshar'lak Voss', in the Inquisitor's Chamber, that seems to indicate there are doubts of his loyalty to Vlaakith. He didn't seem to believe me though, and it sure of his queen's trust...

Act Two[edit | edit source]

No issues found... (Yay!)
