* Characters under the effects of an [[Elixir of Bloodlust]] can use this spell to gain an additional action point by targeting the spell at an object. When the object "dies" and a living creature is then hit by the same effect, the game gives you an additional action for killing an enemy, as per the Elixir. Chain Lightning is a level 6 evocation spell. This spell allows casters to create a bolt of lightning that strikes a target and chains to nearby enemies.

Description

Strike an enemy with lightning. Three more bolts will leap from the target, electrifying as many as three other enemies within range.

  • Since Patch 6, Chain Lightning cannot be used with Metamagic: Twinned Spell Metamagic: Twinned Spell. However, this restriction does not apply to the version of Chain Lightning granted by Markoheshkir.
  • Characters under the effects of an Elixir of Bloodlust can use this spell to gain an additional action point by targeting the spell at an object. When the object "dies" and a living creature is then hit by the same effect, the game gives you an additional action for killing an enemy, as per the Elixir. This also works with Arrow of Many Targets.
