Notes

  • The effect of this arrow on secondary targets is exactly the same as a regular shot, with the exception of halving the damage source component (weapon damage + weapon enchantment + ability modifier).
  • The halving has no effect on damage riders (damage bonuses other than listed above). Notable bonuses unaffected by the reduction include Sharpshooter: All InSharpshooter: All In and Titan Weapon of the  Titanstring Bow.
  • Arrows may ricochet:
    • Off any target, including inanimate objects, which is useful against targets otherwise protected by SanctuarySanctuary.
    • Into neutral characters and Knocked OutKnocked Out enemies.
    • Into invisible characters and break their InvisibilityInvisibility.
  • Arrows do not ricochet into DarknessDarkness.
  • There is a bug, such that if the first arrow crits, all subsequent hits will also crit. This can be forced with Hold PersonHold Person or Hold MonsterHold Monster.
  • Characters under the effects of an  Elixir of Bloodlust can use this arrow to gain an additional action point by targeting the arrow at an object. When the object "dies" and a living creature is then hit by the same effect, the game gives you an additional action for killing an enemy, as per the Elixir. This also works with Chain LightningChain Lightning.
