Elemental Weapon

Elemental Weapon is a level 3 transmutation spell. It imbues a weapon with a chosen energy type, increasing its damage and accuracy.

Description

Imbue a weapon with elemental power. It receives a +1 bonus to Attack rolls and deals an additional 1d4 damage of your choice.

At higher levels

• Upcasting: Casting this spell using a 5th or 6th level Spell Slot increases the Attack rolls bonus by 1 and additional 1d4 damage of your choice (Hexblade Warlocks only, see notes below).

Classes:

• Class level 5: The Hexblade
• Class level 9: Paladin

Notes

• Also granted by Drakethroat Glaive as  Draconic Elemental Weapon with Recharge: Long rest.
• Also granted by Flail of Ages as  Elemental Age with Recharge: Long rest.
• A Sorcerer can target two weapons using  Metamagic: Twinned Spell.
• This spell can target weapons and non-enemy creatures with a weapon in their main hand.
• This spell does not stack with  Draconic Elemental Weapon or  Elemental Age.
• Only The Hexblade can access the upcasted version of elemental weapon.
• It does stack with  Magic Weapon.
